A man in Denmark has designed a new machine, after becoming fed-up tirelessly picking the stones from his fields.
The first of its kind design allows for the picking up or collection of stones from a field using a Quad/ATV. The machine is called “stoneless” and it enables farmers to save their backs from the arduous task of picking and lifting stones.
It operates easily and all you have to do is drive around on a Quad/ATV with the collector attached behind. The collector has three rocker switches, all attached to the handlebar. Check out the above video to see it in action!
- The system is lightweight, all weighing under a couple hundred kgs, which means fewer tracks and damage on your land.
- The machine can record stones of up to 65cms in diameter.
- It is able to collect up to 7 hectares per hour, according to the inventor.
- The maximum height for unloading is 0.28ms and it all operates via a 12V battery.
