WATCH: Future Farming - Spider’s slope Mower

The SPIDER slope mower is a one of a kind, radio remote controlled mower which is built for operation in every type of terrain.

Benefits:
Not only are these machines versatile, but they can not only mow on finely turfed lands but also flat areas and slopes up to 55degrees! It is a light-weight structure with the ability to work on slopes with an incline up to 40 degrees. The integrated hydraulic winch then increases the climbing ability up incredible 55 degrees of incline while enhancing operator safety. The engine always preserves optimum orientation ensuring sufficient lubrication. Spider mower is so efficient, that it can mow slopes which are near-impossible to walk on!

They are highly productive and can save on labour which would take up to 15 people. This is done via brush cutters or 1 boom mower, which is carried by a tractor. The drive system ensures every move is productive, whilst eliminating time lost through turning or mowing around obstacles.

The mowers chop the grass finely into small pieces, using mulching mower decks. These small pieces of grass serve as fertiliser. The mower is not only capable of mowing gardens and landscapes, but also areas of thicker grass. Not only that, but these mowers can be used on tedious weeds such as nettles, thistles, gorse and many more!

It is all controlled, via a radio remote control. This ensures it is very safe and allows for the operators to stand at a safe distance away. This also prevents damage to ears via noise pollution. Safety can be further enhanced by using the hydraulic winch, which stabilizes the machine in extreme slopes.

They are also small in size, which allows for easy transportation. The mower comes in three different models, the Spider ILD01, the Spider ILD02 and the Spider Mini, which is a smaller design primarily for gardens.

A nifty little design, which may be one for the commonage farmers. If you would like any more information on the Spider slope mowers, you can visit their website here.
