A Limousin bull escaped after attempts were made to load the animal onto a trailer at an area outside a mart in Macroom, Co. Cork last week.
Local press, The Corkman reported that the mart was closed at the time that the incident occurred, which happened in the late afternoon/evening. It also outlined that the vendor and purchaser had made an agreement to meet at the mart location to trade the bull in question.
It is understood that local people were injured as a result of the bull’s escape, as he roamed the streets for up two-hours. A video was posted on the Facebook page of Rosanna Lenci.
