Gory Roads Policing and the RSA set up a checkpoint in Bunclody, Co, Wexford today, with a truck driver set to appear in court as a result.
The driver was pulled over by Gardaí at the checkpoint when it was discovered he had broken tachograph regulations and not taken adequate breaks. This led to on-duty Gardaí imposing a mandatory 45-minute rest period on the driver.
The driver, as confirmed on the Garda Twitter page, will appear in court in relation to driver card and the aforementioned tachograph offences.
