A 3 year old boy has been killed in a farm accident in Fife this week.
Stuart Nelson died after he was knocked down by a vehicle.
The Telegraph has reported the incident which involved the young child being hit by a reversing forklift truck.
A family member told the Telegraph; ‘Its all very early to say what they’ll be doing as a family. As far as I’m aware its just a tragic accident.’
The boy lived on the beef farm with his parents and grandparents. The incident happened on Tuesday February 14th at 5.10pm.
It's not often that we report on farm deaths in the UK however the tragic death of little Stuart Nelson needs to be highlighted to illustrate the dangers posed to young children on farms. We must do our very best to ensure safety is always in the front of our minds. Young children and machinery do not mix. Please keep an eye on your children at all times.
