Some Rural areas in Ireland have broadband speeds that up to 36 times slower than those in towns and cities; that’s according to a survey conducted by Switcher, an independent price-comparison website.
The survey showed that there is still a major difference between the connectivity and access for users in rural and urban areas, with almost 27,000 consumers speed tested conducted by broadband users between a specified time period for the purpose of obtaining the data.
