Cowan's Tractors scoop prize as New Holland announces winners of dealer of the year awards for 2016.

Four dealers of New Holland machinery across the UK and Ireland have received the prestigious awards. The annual awards highlights excellence in sales performance and service quality given to customers. The award winners are representatives of the best of New Holland’s 62-strong dealership network, which covers 131 locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

Factors considered when awarding the prize include tractor and baler sales performances, and in some cases, combine sales performances also. All four winning dealerships have achieved 100% of their yearly goals, hence their receiving of the award.

New Holland’s business director for Ireland and the UK, Andrew Watson, had this to say about the awards “While the New Holland Dealer of the year Awards celebrate the achievement of individual dealerships, they also serve to highlight the strength of our extensive network. We are confident that regardless of location or size our dealers provide the best service to farmers, contractors and amenity customers. New Holland is proud to award the success of our partners and will continue to provide them with the tools needed for our combined businesses to thrive.
He added “Every year it becomes harder to select the winner of these awards. Our dealers continue to raise the bar and that is why our runner up position is still a closely fought and highly coveted award.”

Winners of the awards listed below:
Russells Group – Large Volume Tractor and Harvester dealer of the year.
The Burdens Group – Medium tractor and Harvester dealer of the year.
Brian Keys Tractors Ltd - Tractor Dealer of the Year.
Cowan Tractors – Irish Dealer of the year.

Cowan Tractors of Donegal are the latest Irish dealer to win the award, edging out nearest competitors and runners up O’Brien’s Tractors of Bunnanaddan, Co. Sligo.

Upon receiving the award the ever-modest Bertie Cowan said: “The award was really unexpected and it was great to hear that as a team we had done so well. We weren’t thinking about the awards we were just trying to do our best. This award is a testament to the hard work of all of our staff and the loyalty of our many customers over the years. We are continually striving to improve our customer experience in dealing with our company".
This year the award saw the Donegal outfit edge out their Sligo rivals, with strong competition over all in each category. Congratulations to all involved in the win, and good luck to all hopefuls in the coming years business.
