Macra are launching a new project, “Eagles Project”, at a special conference to be held in the Glenroyal Hotel today.
The conference is for all those working in the youth sector and most importantly those involved in youth work, education and mental health. It is for all those people who wish to learn the benefits of positive psychology with regards youth employment.
The project is funded by the European Commission and will focus specifically on tackling youth unemployment numbers. It will develop a training programme to help youth workers in educating the youth in positive psychology and also employment skills. This is done to ensure the development of employability skills in youth while also helping maintain their wellbeing and mental health.
The project was already carried out by partners from Italy, Greece, Cyprus and ICEP Europe in Ireland.
