The man who tragically lost his life in a farm accident in Co. Fermanagh yesterday has been named as Gerry Collins.
According to The Belfast Telegraph, the father of four lived just outside Lisnaskea. It has been reported that farm machinery was involved. The PSNI attended the scene of the incident and the Health and Safety Executive was informed.
In a statement, DUP Leader, Arlene Foster said:
“Very sad news coming from Lisnaskea this evening. Condolences to the family as they grieve their tragic loss.”
“One death on a farm is one too many. This incident has brought into focus the grim dangers that can exist while working with farm machinery.” The statement concluded.
