Police have begun investigations after five people were killed in a massacre on a French farm, as reported by skynews.com.
Officers were called to a farmhouse early on Tuesday morning and were greeted by the bodies of five dead family members. It is thought the father of the family shot his wife and three children in a domestic incident.
The incident occurred in the North of France, near Nouvion-et-Catillon in the Aisne region. The family were discovered at approximately 8:15 am by three farm workers. They attempted to resuscitate two of the victims, though their attempts were unsuccessful.
The parents were both aged 47 and they both were involved in farming. The three children were two boys and one girl, aged 12,18 and 20. Officers are not ruling anything out in their investigations, though they believe the father shot his family, before then shooting himself.
