A crew of forty-eight firefighters battled a gorse blaze in Antrim yesterday after.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that the incident occurred on land near Craig’s Forest, Finvoy, Ballymoney.
In a statement, a spokesperson for NIFRS said:
“A total of 8 fire appliances with 48 firefighters are currently engaged in firefighting operations. The incident has an estimated fire front of approximately 1km and crews are working to bring it under control.”
