Residents of Lee County in the US state of Illinois are in shock following the tragic death of father and son farming team, Rory and Ryan Miller, after a natural gas pipeline exploded this week.
The farmers were installing field tile at a location near the area. The tractor the farmers were using became stuck and a second was brought into the field to free it.
Its understood the tractor accidentally struck the pipeline with its tiling plough. The scene was engulfed in flames. Two other men were injured in the incident and rushed to hospital.
One of the other farm labourers is in a critical condition in hospital while another is described as in a stable condition.
