Two live export trips to Libya are soon to depart Cork, carrying over 3,000 bulls.
The consignment of bulls is set to depart early next week, with all bulls Friesian and continental types and weighing from 400 to 600kgs, continental types the heaviest. All bulls are under 24-months of age. The exports are fronted by Curzon Livestock, based in Douglas, Co. Cork.
Along with in excess of 3,000 bulls, the company are also set to send approximately 400 in-calf Friesian heifers to the same destination. Curzon Livestock are also said to be negotiating terms on further live export consignments over the coming months.
