The EU have negotiated a deal with Japan to sign a major free trade deal.
The deal was signed this morning in Brussels and comes following four years of negotiations.
The deal means that Food and Agriculture exports from Europe will now gain free unlimited access to the Japanese markets.
The deal also saw the removal of import barriers on Japanese cars and car parts to the EU.
99% of all goods traded between the EU and Japan will now have tariffs removed from any deal.
The deal has been welcomed by the IFA, who say this will benefit the Irish beef industry.
The Agriculture Commissioner, Phil Hogan, has worked hard in recent weeks, pushing for the completion of this deal, and ironing out any final kinks.
Finally his hard work has paid off.
