We bring you an update on the horrendous case in the UK where thugs shot a farmers calf on Sunday last.
A farming family have vowed that justice will be done over the shooting dead of their calf on August 6th.
The crime has disgusted the farming community in the UK and Ireland.
The calf in question was shot twice with a shotgun.
The animal was still alive when Alan Collins discovered the incident but despite the farmers best efforts and those of his family vet it died on Monday morning.
Collins has offered a reward of £500 for any information that leads to the arrest and prosection of the attacker.
Collins remarked that he was puzzled as to how the incident happened as he had been in his farm yard most of the day coming in an out on his tractor.
He told the Farmers Weekly;
'I don’t care how long this takes -whether its weeks, months or event years – we will not let this drop.’
