This morning saw bomb experts rush to the scene of a UK farm, to tackle an old World War 2 bomb.
The bomb in question was an unexploded bomb and was being used as a doorstop on a Farm in Dartmoor for many years. The farm was located in Ullacombe Farm near Bovey Tracey this morning. The farm also has a café on site and the bomb was being used as a doorstop in the café for years.
The bomb was discovered by manager of the café, Debbie Coles, early this morning, leading to calls for the bomb disposal team. It had not being used as a door stop for years now and was used as such by the caféowners grandparents.
The bomb was subsequently cleared of danger and removed safe and sound.
