On Tuesday in Ennis the trade was again excellent , with exporters and agents very active in both the heifer and bull weanling ring.
Heifer and bull trade both improved significantly this week, with great quality of weanlings on offer.
In-calf suckler cows and heifers sold from €1,020 up to €1,610.
Suckler cows with calves at foot sold from €1,070 up to €1,900.
Wholesalers and butchers were all very active in the sheep yard today, lambs sold up to a max of €2.75/kg.

Angus/Hereford cross calves sold from €90 up to €400. Continental cross calves sold from €210 up to €690. Runner heifers sold from €550 up to €690 and runner bulls from €400 up to €885.
In the sheep sales Lamb prices varied from E96 and up to E138.
Cast ewes meanwhile made up to E130 per head.
Aged rams saw a good trade making betwee E140 and E180 per head.
