Kilrush Mart – cattle prices – 01-12-2021 

According to a spokesperson, entry numbers were similar to the previous week at Kilrush Mart on December 1^st, 2021.

They reported that a large number of cull cows went under the hammer at this week’s cattle sale.

“Trade was quite solid on the week, with the highlight of the day being a 3-and-half-year-old AAX bullock of 1,235 kg making €2,700.”

“There was a very strong trade for cull cows and 100% clearance achieved all round,” they added.

According to a spokesperson, trade held firm at the Clare Mart’s cattle sale on Wednesday, November 24^th, 2021.

They reported that there was “a good mix” of continental and traditional breeds in the bullock and heifer rings, while the majority of cull cows were dairy-types.
