Cull cows to €2,160 in ‘strong’ trade at Kilkenny

Kilkenny Mart – cattle prices – 13-01-2022

According to George Candler, some 950 cattle passed through the rings at Kilkenny Mart on Thursday, January 13th, 2022.

The mart’s auctioneer reported that trade “remained strong for all lots”.

“Numbers were boosted by an entry of almost 300 cull cows, which provided the best price of the day, that being €2,160 for a 970kg Charolais,” Candler remarked.
