Ballinasloe Mart held their first sale of the year on Saturday. Heifers met with a steady trade, while heavier cattle and cull cows led the sale.
Speaking to That’s Farming, Eilis Curley, Manager of Ballinasloe Mart said:
“On Wednesday, we had the heavier cattle and cull cows. There was a good demand for both the bullocks and cull cows. There was demand for heifers, but it wasn’t as strong.” Eilis said.
