You have a calendar countdown; a leaf in your chequebook has been spared for the event and you have made a list of all the stands that you wish to drop by.

Suckler beef farmers and stakeholders are set to flock to Teagasc, Grange, Dunsany, Co. Meath for Beef 2018 on Tuesday, June, 26th.

The theme of this event is ‘€nhancing Knowledge’, with an emphasis to be placed on highlighting those technologies that will help underpin the future profitability of the beef sector including grassland management; animal nutrition; beef genetics; reproductive management and animal health.

Are you heading along to the event on Tuesday? Well, That’s Farming have noted some ways you can tell you’re ready for Beef 2018.

  1. You have a calendar countdown.
You have been waiting for the day to arrive since the date was officially announced.
  1. You have compiled a long list containing all the stands that you will attend.
Live demonstrations; panel discussions and sessions on innovative Agricultural technology all sound quite intriguing!
  1. All farm work has been cancelled for the day.
No marts; no visits from the AI technician and no purchasing stock in the country. You may give permission to the agricultural contractors to cut the silage meadow but that will be the one and only exception!
  1. Tea flask and sandwiches are at the ready.
You’re ready to roll!
  1. A leaf of your chequebook has been spared for any potential purchases.
You might just buy an agricultural machine or two!

6. You’re going with a vision that you will be Ireland’s top suckler beef farmer!
Sure, what’s stopping you?
